Axiom is expanding across the Nordic region and is looking for an experienced Principal Consultant – Asset Management to join our growing team in Sweden.
This is not a traditional consulting role.
We are looking for someone who combines deep expertise in Asset Management with a passion for helping clients solve complex operational challenges and a desire to contribute to the growth of a modern consulting company.
You will work closely with our Nordic team to support clients, develop new opportunities, strengthen our market position, and help expand Axiom's presence in Sweden.

As part of our Swedish team, you will help deliver consulting services to leading organizations while contributing to the continued growth of Axiom in Sweden.
The role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise, client engagement, and business growth without requiring full responsibility for running the Swedish business.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management & Advisory
- Lead and support consulting engagements within Asset Management and Operational Excellence.
- Advise clients on asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategy, reliability improvement, and performance optimization.
- Support clients in implementing Asset Management frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Drive value creation through maintenance optimization, risk management, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, asset owners, and operational teams.
Aviation, Defense & Process Industry
- Support clients across Aviation, Defense, Manufacturing, and Process Industries.
- Contribute industry expertise to improve operational performance and asset reliability.
- Help clients address complex challenges related to aging infrastructure, maintenance, operational readiness, and digital transformation.
- Support the development of sustainable and efficient asset management strategies.
Business Development & Market Growth
- Support the identification and development of new consulting opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and market initiatives.
- Help strengthen Axiom's presence in Sweden and across the Nordic region.
Service Development
- Contribute to the development of Axiom's Asset Management and Advisory services.
- Share industry expertise and best practices.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities within Asset Management, Maintenance, Reliability, Data Analytics, and AI.
Company Development
- Contribute to the growth of Axiom Sweden.
- Support recruitment and team development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Nordic region.
- Help shape the future direction of our services and capabilities.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
You likely have:
- 8-15+ years of experience within Aviation, Defense, Process Industry, Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation, Infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries.
- Strong experience in Asset Management, Maintenance Management, Reliability Engineering, Operational Excellence, or related disciplines.
- Experience from a consulting firm, advisory organization, or senior industry role.
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance optimization, and performance improvement.
- Experience leading transformation, improvement, or digitalization initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A commercial mindset and interest in developing client relationships.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
Experience with standards and methodologies such as ISO 55000, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and Digital Asset Management is highly valued.
